During the long-term use of the air compressor, large and small faults will occur. How should we solve these faults? We summarize the following 8 common faults and propose corresponding solutions.
1. The air compressor cannot start for no reason
Check for control voltage. If not, you need to check whether the fuses are intact; if there is a control voltage, check whether the control relay and time relay are operating normally.
2. The air supply of the air compressor is abnormal
Check whether the control cylinder is in motion, if there is motion, check whether the butterfly valve has mechanical failure; if there is no failure, check whether the loading electromagnetic ISV coil has suction; after eliminating the mechanical failure and coil failure of the ISV solenoid valve, check the sub-circuits of the solenoid valve ISV one by one.
3. The exhaust pressure of the air compressor is too low
Check the pressure before and after separation, check whether there is any leakage in the gas pipeline, whether the butterfly valve is fully open, whether the intake regulator is working normally, whether the solenoid valves 3SV and 8SV are leaking, whether the pressure switch IPS needs to be adjusted from the beginning, etc.
4. The air compressor automatically stops during operation
First of all, check whether the machine is automatically shut down normally; then check whether the active switch and thermal relay are activated, whether the cooling fan motor is stopped, or the exhaust temperature is too high, or the pressure is too high, etc., and whether the motor voltage is normal.
5. The exhaust temperature of the air compressor is too high
First check whether the ambient temperature, compressor lubricating oil, oil level, oil quality, refrigeration fan, etc. are normal; then check whether the oil cooler and after cooler is clean, whether the temperature control valve element, oil cut-off solenoid valve voltage and valve body are normal, If the diaphragm is damaged, the temperature control valve core does not move, etc., it needs to be replaced; finally check whether the oil filter is dirty or needs to be replaced. Exhaust temperature is normally 80 ~ 95 ℃.
6. The air compressor does not start smoothly
The screw air compressor automatically shuts down a few seconds after starting up, and it is recommended to check whether the switch is tripped, whether the voltage is normal, whether the closing degree of the intake butterfly valve is normal, and whether the three items of the contactor and the motor during Y-△ start are normal, etc.
7. Oil injection at the inlet of the air compressor leads to shutdown
First, check whether the oil cut-off solenoid valve 5SV has voltage and whether the mechanical part is normal; if it is normal, check the check valve and reassemble or replace it.
8. The air compressor consumes a lot of fuel
Check whether the oil content of the condensed water discharged from the trap is too large, whether the oil level of the compressor is too high, whether the opening pressure of the minimum pressure valve is normal, whether the oil return pipe is blocked, whether the oil separation core is blocked, etc.
